Warm Homes, Warm Hearts
The “Warm Homes, Warm Hearts” campaign began in 2008. It is a fund to help keep everyone warm during winter. Funds may go to help an elderly resident, a struggling young family, or perhaps someone that been swamped with unexpected medical bills or a job layoff.
BEMC provides up to $50,000 in matching funds for all donations from the community. Each year BEMC employees and board members kick off the campaign with their own individual donations and proceeds from fundraising raffles and other events.
All funds are administered through Brunswick Family Assistance & the Columbus County Department of Aging. Eligibility to receive assistance will be determined by those agencies.
All contributors to the campaign will receive a colorful static window cling with the WHWH logo.
We invite all members of the community to join this effort!
