SUPPLY, N.C. (APRIL 15, 2019) - Forty projects were selected from a field of more than 70 applicants to receive funding from the Community Grant program at Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation (BEMC). Grants totaling $47,000 will go to projects to be implemented in both Brunswick and Columbus counties.
“This year’s recipients cover a broad spectrum of programs and services,” says Josh Winslow, BEMC’s CEO and General Manager. “With so many worthy projects to consider, the review process was a challenge. These grants will be used in our communities to help people across our service area; children and young families as well as those dealing with health issues, the homeless and of course, our senior citizens.”
